Self-Advocates of Hancock County (SAHC)

Self-Advocates of Hancock County (SAHC) is a group of individuals with disabilities (18 years+), who are empowered through meaningful education and advocacy efforts that strengthen an individual's understanding about how to make good choices, 

be heard and included, and the ability to move toward total independence that leads to a good life.

SAHC is membership-based to create a community and 

sense of belonging among peers where individuals can discuss topics of interest, learn more about areas of interest and learn how to voice opinions and 

breakdown barriers that exist.
